First, it is only compatible with the 32-bit Windows Vista in addition to the fact that it only runs on Internet Explorer or the SG2 browser application. This is such a hassle considering that many other rangefinders can run on almost any OS and browser. You will end up with a useless piece of device if your OS is the 64-bit Windows or the Mac and if your default browser is Mozilla.
Second, customer support service is definitely not Skycaddie’s strongest marketing come-on. The website is often down for so-called upgrades and the customer service representatives are unprofessional.
Then again, if you can put up with these inconveniences and just choose to look at the bright side of its benefits, the Skycaddie SG2 is as good as it gets in golf rangefinders.
