Bushnell Medalist Rangefinder Pros And Cons
Pros
1) Accuracy: It was very accurate. I was able to use it avoid the sand traps on my regular course and on other difficult golf courses.
2) Size: This is relatively small. You could manage it with 1 hand but to get a steady reading you might need both hands. But, with the Pinseeker mode, you will be able to manage.
3) Cost: It costs $299 and is worth every penny
4) Battery life: It uses a 9V replaceable battery. After a week of daily use, it still had enough juice left in it.
5) Versatility: This rangefinder works on all courses, no maps issues or any memory-related problems.
6) Best golf buddy: Your golf buddies will not be able to do all this. So, guess what. You just found your new best friend. (We are only half-kidding of course)
Cons
1) The case that comes along with it is a little flimsy for my tastes. It is nice-looking but not rugged enough. You can get a camcorder case that is a lot more durable.
2) On the older designs, a few people had complained that the battery cover is a little flimsy. Its fixed now though. Just as a precaution you can put some tape over it.
Overall recommendation: We highly recommend this rangefinder. It’ll help you lower your score beyond a shadow of a doubt.
